1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Sport & Research(the "platform"), an online community and learning platform providing research reviews, discussion spaces, training courses and related services. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

Accounts are created by invitation or admin approval. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to enter a binding contract (16+).

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: post unlawful, abusive, defamatory or infringing content; harass other members; attempt to access areas or data you're not authorised to; scrape, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the platform; or misuse it to send spam. We may moderate, hide, or remove content and suspend accounts that breach these terms.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you post (comments, posts, profile). You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and display it within the platform to operate the service. You are responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the rights to share it.

5. Courses, mentorships & payments

Paid courses and mentorships are purchased through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices are shown before purchase. Access is granted to the purchasing account and is personal to you — you may not share it. Course content, schedules and drip dates may vary by cohort. Where a monthly subscription is offered, it renews automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and access continues to the end of the paid period. Statutory rights to cancel digital purchases may be limited once access has begun; any refund policy will be stated at the point of sale.

6. Intellectual property

The platform, its research reviews, course materials and branding are owned by Sport & Research or its contributors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may use them for your own learning but may not copy, redistribute, or resell them without permission.

7. Not professional advice

Content on the platform is for education and general information. It is not medical, clinical or professional advice and should not replace consultation with an appropriately qualified professional. You use the information at your own risk and remain responsible for decisions made in your own practice.

8. Availability & changes

We aim to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may change or discontinue features. We may update these terms; material changes will be notified and your continued use constitutes acceptance.

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile; deletion takes effect after a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, Sport & Research is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
